The BWC Board of Directors has approved a new workers’ compensation rate reduction, saving Ohio’s private employers nearly $10 million in premiums, effective July 1, 2026. Since the beginning of Governor DeWine’s administration in 2019, BWC has reduced rates by 50%, achieving the lowest rates in over 65 years.
