The U.S. blockade in the Strait of Hormuz is doing what is intended to do, Gen. Dan Caine, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Thursday.
The blockade applies to Iranian ports and coastal areas, including those in the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman.
