Australia’s Josie Baff has missed out on a second gold medal at the Winter Olympics after her teammate’s crash cruelled their chances in the mixed snowboard cross event.

Jakara Anthony brought another freestyle-skiing gold medal to Australia, winning in the Olympic debut of dual moguls, the wilder and more unpredictable cousin of moguls skiing that has been in the Games for decades.

Matt Graham has created history for Australia at the Winter Olympics with a bronze medal in the men's dual moguls. But there was heartbreak for two of his Aussie teammates after a crash from Adam Lambert in the mixed snowboard cross saw Josie Baff miss out on a landmark second medal.

Cam Bolton is resting after the accident. He fell Monday and complained of worsening pain the next day, when a trip to the hospital identified two fractures.
